Linking A20e to a Windows 10 Hp laptop?

Hello my Query is linking my phone to a HP windows 10 laptop. I have the Your phone app on the laptop and the your phone companion on my phone but still no connection.

support.microsoft.com does not list my S G A20e supporting a link to Windows. That seems to be true. Should I give up and just use USB cords?

please install drivers to laptop by installing Smart Switch 

https://www.samsung.com/global/download/smartswitchwin/

connect your phone to laptop via USB cable then "allow" connection on phone's notification

restart laptop if required to complete the installation of drivers 

the laptop should now detect your phone
