Issue since Nov update

Since getting the last update my phone now minimises Google maps when driving, minimises YouTube and stops netflix while I'm watching stuff and trued to minimise games while I'm playing and temporarily freezes while it sorts itself out?

Anyone else having these issues and knows how to fix let me know please.

I've tried clearing cache of the phone and the apps but 5hat doesn't work. Haven't tried clearing the 'cache partition' but thought that means I'd lose some data?
