Reset the Network Connection in Settings > GeneralManagement > Reset > Reset Network Connection.
If that does nkt help then if you can try your sim card in another phone to see if things persist.
Also does this happen everywhere or in a particular place and to all contacts or just a specific one.
The issue could be the area your in and would be beneficial to check any available Network Checker.
It could also be the sim card and if so your Network can perform a sim swap which moves your number and tariff to a new blank sim card.
