Enquiry for a non-tech friend:
Since a recent update whenever he starts to make a phonecall a blue floating menu appears which gets in the way. At the end of the call there remains a page which needs to be got rid of. Right sliding can get rid temporarily, but the floater is always there when starting another call.
I have a Note 9 and have never seen this before. Sure it will be simple, but its got me foxed!

The issue started shortly after a very recent update. Patches I am not familiar with I'm afraid.

Hi @GIZMO8908, and welcome to the Samsung UK Community forum. Please could you check whether you have Edge panels enabled? To do this, please go to Settings > Display > Edge screen. From here, you will see an option named Edge panels. If the switch next to this is toggled to On, simply tap it once to turn it Off.
We have an online guide at https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/what-is-the-edge-panel-and-how-do-i-use-it/ that provides you with more information regarding the Edge panels feature that you may find useful.

To fix the "blue floating menu" that's on the screen during a call, I went to "Settings", "Apps", then tap the three dots on the right hand corner, then select "Special access", tap "Appears on top", and turn off "#All Email Login"
