Headphones on A13

Hi,

I've recently bought an a13 for work and own a note 20 ultra. I plugged in the USB c headphones from the note 20 into the a13 and whilst it they would play the audio from a YouTube video, they wouldn't play the audio from a phone call. 

What am I missing, can anyone help?

Unless they have a microphone, they won't cancel the speaker

Thanks for the comment. They cancel the speaker on the note ultra but I don't understand why they don't on the a13!

I have bought two wired headphones that were advertised for the Galaxy A13- one was with the 3mm plug. You can listen to music but would not control the volume, nor would it pause the music, it was useless for calling or receiving calls.  Next I bought a type C headphones that were for the Galaxy A13, these control volume-pause music but will not answer calls - person on other end dosent hear me talking.  I gave up.  I use my BLUETOOTH headset AND ITS WORKS LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO.  Hey Samsung get us some wired headphones that work!
