I recently acquired a refurbished A71 running Android 13 and OneUI 5.1. I have the latest software updates installed. The handset was bought from a very reputable refurbed phone seller in the UK. Everything about it is running perfectly, except for one quite major issue.
Whenever I record video, the soundtrack of the resulting footage contains random popping/crackling sounds. I've tried recording video with the phone in Safe Mode, but the problem persists. I've also tried re-starting the handset. Can anybody help me to resolve this? I'm worried that I might have a hardware issue here.
NOTE: this only happens on video recording. Audio files made using the Voice Recorder app are fine.

UPDATE: I found the solution to the problem.
I realised that the popping noises were only occurring when the camera was being moved: panning/tilting etc. I checked in the camera settings and found that I had Video Stabilisation switched on. I switched it off.
Result: no more unwelcome noises! For some reason I can't explain, the activity of the stabilisation process was generating the pops and clicks. Hopefully this fault will be corrected in a future software update, but for now I'm happy to live without Video Stabilisation for the sake of clean audio. 👍
