Been using it for more than a week now and I keep having this unlocking problem for like three to five times a day. Screen won't respond regardless of how hard you press your finger on the on-screen scanner area. Will have to press the power button instead to unlock using face recognition. Anyone having the same?

Hi,
I have purchased Samsung A70 phone around 2 months back and I am facing this issue from 1st day.. this issue has been slightly improved after Jun fix updates but still this is not better and I have try at least 3-4 times to unlock my phone. Also there is one more observations if I use same figure print password to unlock any banking application then it will get open quickly. So I suspect Samsung lock screen software has more problems.
But, at the end this is very disappointing bug and I am not happy with this phone just because of this issue. Samsung kindly fix this issue as soon as possible.

I'm having the same issue and it's so frustrating.
I tray 3 to 4 times and never work and I switch to face recognition.

I have just bought an A70 and the scanner works very well - almost instantaneous. I have the bright green scanner on mine.

I wonder if there are new hardware units out there? Not sure if we can tell from some model/build number. If so SAMSUNG, I want one of the newer ones please!!

Oh, how long you had it? The issue does degrade over days often..
