Galaxy A3 (2017) having no access to body text field in Samsung E-mail app

Samsung  E-mail in my Galaxy A3 (2017) has stopped working . The mail app has been working OK for several years until now. When trying to open a received emal, I can read the sender and subject, but the text never appears, The waiting symbol spins forever. When trying to write and send mail, I can specify the recipient and subject, but I cannot access the Text field. Gmail app and Outlook mail app behave the same way. Mail apps obviously do not work. Webmail is now my lifeline! /BI

Back your device up, then do a hard reset. I think your cache is needing a clear-out.

you may need to use Microsoft outlook if email is not working

I have tried the apps Microsoft Outlook and Google Gmail with the same result. Unfortunately, they do not work.
