Galaxy a22 5g restoring deleted photos at random intervals (recycle bin turned off) It's around 200 photos , I deleted now over 10 times, on random occasion these photos which are mostly sent pictures to myself keep restoring themselves to my phones gallery .. Any ideas how to resolve this annoying bug ?

Are syncing with one drive?

They're being downloaded or syncing from a cloud service. Delete them from your cloud.

Thanks a lot will check but I always have sync turned off (I think)

Yeah auto sync is off ..one drive isn't even set up

If these are photos sent to you and the messages exist along with the photos then Gallery will find them. Gallery isn't a place it's just an app that finds all of the pictures on your phone so if they are still in the messages Gallery will find them.

Thanks but the Original messages came via WhatsApp and screenshots, original WhatsApp thread deleted along with the picture contents ..

Still have the same issue ..roughly once a month deleted photos still being restored 🤷‍♂️
