When I bought my phone was able to change background of sms text messages. Is it correct that I no longer able to do so?

Hi, it's not via an app, it's what was in the phone settings.

Hi @mickep 

Maybe try another sms app or look at options such as Samsung Goodlock and it's Plug Ins or a launcher such as Nova Prime.

Or while in Samsung Messages go into the text message and tap on the 3 dots in the top Rh corner and choose customise Chat room.
