My A10s software update doesn't work.

tried several times to update i keep getting this message.

Your current software version isn't supported. visit a service

How did you try to update ? OTA or flash it with a PC ?

Have you ever rooted the phone etc @Bake1  ?

 

Who supplied the phone i.e Samsung directly,  a Network or imported ?

 

Perhaps try Samsung Smartswitch to update.

A Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can take a look.

if any of that fails, I'd maybe suggest trying to do a soft reset in order to get the phone to kickstarter the update, I think that's possible somehow, if not I know you can go into the safe mode and try, or try resetting to factory reset as if it was just out of box, I know a pain but only things I can think.

BandofBrothers, I Don't know how to root phones, Phone may well have been imported and i have tried smartswitch several times.

what was the update for, a software or firmware? and if want to do a reset be careful to back up everything just incase you lose them, but I'd recommend a soft reset or a full factory reset, as it will reset phone completely and when you switch it on and connect to a internet connection and it should start to update to the latest update.

I have done factory reset and still won't update. Just say's current software version isn't supported.

Security patch level: 1 December 2019.
