Hi, I got my phone last year, it's an A54 and basically today I noticed there's a acqua green faint spot on my phone screen. It's more visible when the screen is white but now, you can even see it a tiny bit when the screen is like grey etc.
Does anyone know what may have caused this and if there is a way to fix it?
Thank you.

Is your phone covered by the warranty? If yes the best choice is to bring the phone to a Samsung official center to check if the screen need to be replaced. Otherwise you can't do anything.

Hi,

@jsh02, welcome to the Community!

Could you check if the stain is also visible in the diagnostic test? To start it, type the code *#0*# on the numeric keypad of the Phone app, then go to Receiver or the Red, Green, Blue items to display a single-color screen.

If you see it in this environment too, I confirm that it will be appropriate to go to the local assistance center for an analysis of the defect.

You can find the center closest to you by clicking on the following link and entering the ZIP code of your city in the appropriate space: https://www.samsung.com/it/support/service-center/

You also have the option to book assistance directly online, by accessing your Samsung Account via the Your Service page: https://www.samsung.com/it/support/your-service/main/

I remain at your disposal.

Have a nice day!

Hello! Thank you for replying. I did this, and when the screen is red, it's very visible, whereas you can not see it when the screen is green. When the screen is blue, it's very faint, I had to tilt my phone to see it. Is it perhaps because I put too much pressure in that area with my fingers or something?

Hi! I'm gonna check the receipt to see if the warranty period is over, or I can still get it checked out without extra cost. Thank you for the help.

It could be that after a big pressure on this part of the screen some pixels got burned or damaged.

Hi jsh02,

what you describe could be just the proximity sensor on your mobile phone, which is sometimes visible due to the right light and inclination, as you've already noticed.

Could you maybe post a photo of your device, underlying the area where you see this spot? This way I would tell you if it really is.

Let me know, I'm here!

Have a nice day.

Yes, that feels more likely the cause because that particular part of the screen almost looks worn out? I'm not sure if that makes sense but, it's very obvious when the screen is an a solid colour that isn't blue or green

Hello, I have tried taking a photo of that particular area using my mom's phone, but unfortunately, there's nothing visible in the photo. So I tried drawing it? I'm not sure if that can help at all, but this is a screenshot of the phone app, and these are the spots where it's visible. On a white screen, it's a very pale blue greenish colour. Initially, I thought I was seeing things, but it's very much there. On a completely red screen, the spots look light grey. They are more visible on a solid red screen. Also, I'm not sure if this makes sense, but they reflect light, especially when I tilt the phone to the sides. It's almost like two parallels lines going down slightly. I hope this is helpful in some way. Thank you in advance for your help. Picsart_25-01-16_12-16-26-848_1000069032_1737026186.jpgPicsart_25-01-16_12-12-51-622_1000069030_1737025971.jpg

Hi jsh02,

thank you for your prompt acknowledgment.

That is weird indeed, thus I suggest you to directly refer to a Samsung Customer Centre in order to check the situation out.

Here you can find the nearest one: https://www.samsung.com/it/support/service-center/

Keep me posted, have a nice evening!
