Does the earphone socket on the Galaxy A50 also have a microphone connection?

Title says it all, really. Can I use a combined headset/mike through the earphone jack, or is that just for output only? The published specs are silent, so i am assuming that you can't.

@ptoye: If you're referring to a headset for making/receiving calls then you're fine to use a wired option via the 3.5mm jack.

@AndrewL Yes, That's what I want. the manual refers to it just as an 'earphone' socket without any reference to microphones.
