You are assuming the update has bugs, this may not be the case.
Google and Samsung are fighting an ongoing war against scammers and fraud and so security gets updated every month.
As @Iminvti has said, clear cache in Google Wallet. Then I would perform a soft reset (hold down volume and side button for about 10 seconds until your device powers off, it will then restart - you won't lose data).
All should then be well again.
