In that case, my best guess is something is up with the cable or the charger.
To explain a lil more. Charging is 5v standard, nothing fancy.
Fast charging is when the phone talks to the charger and asks for a higher voltage to charge faster.
Super fast charging is that but they talk a lot more to send even more power.
The fact your phone just says charging means the phone and charger aren't talking.
Try a different cable, try a different charger if possible. I don't like to think the phone is at fault as a charger and cable costs way less than a phone, so easier to replace.
You probs aren't seeing the battery for up as it's just super slow or failing to actually output much.
Any type c charger should work fine. Last resort connect your phone to a pc to charge, just won't be fast.
To get super fast charging, a charger must support USB pd 3.0/3.1 and support PPS. Ideally at 30w or more.
Fast charging is usb pd of any version and no pps
