Changing to larger capacity SD card. How to transfer data from old to new card in my Galaxy A40?

I would like to upgrade from a 32gb SD card to 128gb one.  At my age (72 years) I'm rather reluctant to just dive in and copy from one card to another then slip it in to the SD slot.

Can anyone please let me know how to transfer data from old to new card in my Galaxy A40?

I mean when I do this I copy to pc then to a new card but that's just me personally

I agree with going via a PC but remember to format the new card in the phone to ensure it is readable.
