I recently got a new pair of wireless Bluetooth earbuds and since then my home WiFi connection has been terribly slow. I found out today it's because both Bluetooth and WiFi share the same 2.4GHz band and indeed when I turned off Bluetooth my WIFI speed shot up. My router supports 5GHz but for some reason, my phone is not using that. Any help please?

Can you go into your Hone Broadband Routers settings and split the frequencies to 2.4ghz and 5ghz and name them as such @daiyanb

Some Routers allow this and some don't.

Then go into your phone's settings and forget the network in it's settings and then reset up the connection to the 5ghz.

Be aware however that this connection is less flexible than 2.4ghz.

You could also try changing the wireless channel in your router.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎
