Can't sever connection between laptop and mobile

I accidentally allowed my laptop to access my phone when I plugged it into the USB port. I want to sever this connection since I don't want my work laptop automatically accessing my personal phone. I have attempted to remove the phone from the list of recognized USB devices, but now every time I connect to the laptop Windows automatically sets up my phone again. I want to stop this from happening. Basically, I want my laptop to forget my phone ever existed. Can someone help, since all I can find either thinks I want to establish a new connection (no, I'm trying to remove one), suggests that unplugging breaks the link (it doesn't, the connection setup again when I connect my phone again), or I'm using the Windows 10 phone syncing (I'm not).

PC: Windows 10 Enterprise
Phone: Galaxy A52s 5G, running Android 11

Hi, your work laptop or any other device you connect the phone to can't access anything unless you unlock your phone so there is no security risk. Your phone gets recognised because the PC will have downloaded Samsung USB drivers.
