Just to be clear, do you mean the remaining battery percentage, if not, can you give more info.

No, I mean when the phone's charging & the screen says how much time is remaining until its fully charged. This is my Galaxy M31S which shows how much time is remaining, however the A12 does not

Thanks for clarifying. Please try settings, battery and device care, tap battery then select more battery settings and turn on show charging information.
Hopefully that fixes it.
