Blip noise with earphones

I have an A12, all was fine for first 2 wks, now everytime i plug in my earphipes there is a continiouse blipping noise. Even after removing the earphones, to stop this i have to restar the phone. Anyone knows how to stop this or why ot ishappening?

As a process of elimination can you try another set of earphones and or try your current earphones in another phone.

If these are wired earphones then use a torch to check that the port has no debris inside it @RouckySirius

Hi #bandofbrothers, the simplest solutions evaded me, by just changing the earplug problem solved. Thank you for your advice.
