Why don't I have this Bixby app my phones brand new and it seems that I have some apps that are hidden how do I find them?

Have you checked the Samsung folder within the apps pages?

yes I did and it's not there .....the app widget isn't but when I type the name Bixby in on the settings page it comes up

OK, check under settings and then apps. That will list everything on the phone.
