Battery draining

My battery on mobile drains from 50% to zero in a few minutes

when you say in a few mins, do you actually mean that it goes from 50% to Zero in 2mins?? if so then you'll need a new phone unless the battery comes out then you'll just need a new battery. nothing you can do on any phone will drain the battery that fast.

@Cookie35: Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. Please can you confirm the model number and current Android version of your phone? In the meantime, please can you confirm if you are using the official charger and cable that came with the device? If you head to Settings > Device Care > Battery > Battery Usage, are there any apps or features listed here that are using an abnormal amount of battery? If so, try disabling these apps when not in use via the Recent Apps button. I also recommend checking the power saving tips below in an effort to improve your overall battery life.

- Enable Power Saving mode
- Reduce your screen brightness (or enable Adaptive Brightness)
- Switch off GPS, WiFi and Mobile data when not in use
- Disable or shut down any applications when not in use via your Recent Apps button
- Delete any recently installed 3rd party applications

Yes. sealed battery/phone! Only 18 months old. Oh dear

It's an A40. Not been using official charger. Will have another look at apps to see about shutting more down. Thanks
