APK downloads stop on ONE UI 8?

Hi, I've heard some rumours that upgrading to One UI 8 stops me from downloading APKs from web browsers. Is this true? Thank you

By 2027 UI8 will be no more (except really old phones).

It will probablybe UI10 by then.

So the answer to everyone's question is  NO!. UI8 will not stop you downloading and using apk's

No not true. You need to turn of Auto Blocker in the settings first.
