Phone has been lagging terribly since new update. Battery life has been terrible as well. Is samsung aware of the issue.

HOT FIX:

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Visibility > Enhancements and tick "Reduce Transparency and Blur"

Make sure all your apps are updated and use the optimisation option in device care. 

After a full cycle of use check in the Device Care section of the phone. 

Other generic troubleshooting options are.... 

1. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may also need   to insert your earphones and or hook up to a laptop. No need to launch anything, just turn it on. 

2. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ 

3. Last resort is back up and factory reset.
