Why A8 did not get One UI 1.1?

My J7 2017 recently got upgraded to Pie and got One UI 1.1.

A8 is stuck on One UI 1.0? Why?

Software updates are released in batches dependant on your Network Operator.

Why? The J7 was released a year before the A8 and had inferior specs and everything. Now, with both devices ending in pie (because the A8 launched with nougat for some reason), the J7 will have the more up to date version, even more so than the s8. Samsung did the same with the A 2016 and J 2016 series. The A3 2016 got android 7.0 while the J3 16 got 7.1.

That's not true. I have a generic SSE firmware and i have One UI 1.0?

Does anyone have a Samsung A8 2018 with One UI 1.1?

No because it didn't receive the update and unfortunately probably never will

Wtf are you talking about they won't even update it to OneUI 2.0 because of it got 2 major updates 😭😭😭🤦🏿‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Yeah it's crazy- we are stuck with these dodgy gestures and laggy animations along with android pie forever now when A6 gets one UI 2.0 and all the good stuff along with that😭☹️
