A71 screen blackout

Hi

The phone screen keeps blacking out.

Did the same when got the phone did a software update then was ok.

Now has started doing the same again but there are no more software updates available at this moment.

I have 2 of the same phone and only my Mrs phone keeps playing up.

Any help please?

is it a possibility that she's downloaded a game or app that is causing the screen blackouts? before going down the route of resetting or going through returns, swaps or warranty repair? some apps can make the phone behave odd.

no she has not downloaded anything.
but this was even happening the very next day after we recieved the phone.

I would definitely log a complaint with the retailer you purchased from... see what the options are. if the issue was happening that soon then it should be replaced (within 30 days of purchase normally and depending on where from)... outside 30 days its normally a warranty repair... but sounds like corrupt software.

I bought directly from Samsung.
did complain about it when I first got it but then after the software update it was working fine until now again it started with same issue.
can't get hold of anyone at Samsung at this moment
