A71 microphone problem

Hi. So basically, my A71 phone's microphone randomly stops working (any voice recording thing on the phone doesn't work and Calls too - I can't be heard and I can't hear them) and the only thing I can do it's a restart and it gets back to working. But after a while, or a random time, it stops again. It has been like this for like a month or two and it's getting SO annoying. Sometimes the phone freezes and it's like a "hey, your microphone crashed right now" *joke*(after it's starting to freeze the mic doesn't work. at all.). Please, please, please, I've done a:factory reset, changed sim slots (1 to 2 back and forth), restarted the WI-FI router, someone know what is this about?!

Same problem here. Since 2-3 weeks now. I've installed an update with a big delay because it's the end of support, and I was expecting it may be sabotaged to make users purchase new phones. I'm afraid I was right.
Microphone randomly switches off and after reboot it works again.

Samsung doesn't care about any phone that is getting out of support.

By buying a new phone of this brand, you just told them they're doing the right thing.

For me, A71 will be the last Samsung I ever bought.
Sorry, but sabotage won't make me buy a new product.

After having the same issue for a while, I found a solution on a Samsung comunity in spanish, I had tested it on my phone for a week and so far so good.

So go to settings/app/Bixby Voice

And disable the app, that fixed for me.

Thanks for posting the solution and I will test it too and share the results. Additionally I found out that I was facing this more frequently whenever I watched a video on a browser window. I don't know if this was really effecting the device but avoiding that seemed to work for me.

The solution didn't help in my case, unfortunately it's still doing the same thing the microphone stops working abruptly and without any particular reason.

Sorry to hear that, I don't know if this could help but before disable the app, while you are in the app, go to storage  and clean data and cache and the proceed to disable, I did it in that order.

My phone is still working since then.

Thanks again for thar, I am trying that now. And again to update on what I have noticed about using the chrome browser for viewing a website. The activity seems to be meddling with the functionality of the microphone. Again No idea why that would happen.

I do have the same issue with my phone as well, i tried restarting, resetting and all but no soution.

Will give it to the samsung center tomorrow🥲
