A71 5G UW No Call Volume

Just bought the wife a new Verizon A71. I performed all the updates (UI 2.5, Dec security) right out of the box then performed a factory reset. Restored her apps/data and everything seems great until her first phone call...she can't hear the caller but they hear her fine. I've checked all her settings and everything is at their defaults. Sounds seems to work on everything but the phone. Any ideas before I return it?

Have you tried turning up the volume whilst in an active call ?

 

Also ensure all protective In-Transit plastic has been removed @Gulfstream

Yep, sure did...in call volume is maxed and all the protective tape had been removed. I have figured out that the speakerphone feature works though. It's got to be a software issue, lots of others are experiencing the same issue but I haven't found a solution.

Thats good it's actually working.

 

Does this happen everywhere or in one particular area as I'm thinking network mast issues. What happens if you switch to a 2g connection via the phone's settings  ?

 

A person can send feedback via the Samsung Members App or visit a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre who can take a look.
