A7 contacts

Ive recently passed my old a7 for my daughter to use. Cleared the full phone then put a new sim in but now it wont let us add any contacts, can anyone help ???

old a7? what's the exact model? also take a look at flashing the stock firmware for your region, you should be able to update from there and all the apps should optimize correctly... I'd be glad to look for you if you tell us the model number and region

@JoLaff: Please can you confirm the current Android version of the phone, which can be found in Settings > About Phone > Software Information? What happens when you head to Apps > Contacts, and tap the '+' symbol?

Android version 10. Nothing happens when + is pressed. I can dial a number and press add contact but nothing happens then either 🤷

Have discovered there was no 'contacts' app. Have downloaded a google one and this seems to work now, not sure what the problem was in the first place 🤷‍♀️🤔
