I updated from OneUI 6.0 to OneUI 6.1 on my Galaxy A54. So far I loved the changes, but every time I enter the "Lockscreen and AOD" page, the options to customise the AOD disappear. They're there for a second but they disappear?
Please could I have some help as to fix this or some information on what's going on?
Thank you very much for your help, I am incredibly grateful. However, despite wiping my cache, this hasn't helped and I am still experiencing the issue.
No problem. Can you please try booting to safe mode.
Press the power button and long press on the power off icon. Tap the safe mode icon. The phone will boot into safe mode and can you check if your issue still occurs.
Thank you very much for your advice, however despite using Maintenance mode and Safe mode (just like you said) I'm still experiencing the issue. I feel it may be disabled for some reason; remember the options appear but instantly disappear when I enter the menu
Thanks. Safe mode is designed to disable any 3rd party apps or customisations that might have been causing this unusual behaviour. Unfortunately, as you say, it's not helped. My partner has the same phone and is not experiencing any bad effects from installing the UI6.1 update. At this point, would you consider a full factory reset?
For further notice upon this subject, I have not factory reset my phone yet as there is an application that has no backup capabilities. If anyone knows a way of backing up apps that don't support it, I'd be happy to know 👍
