A52 5G Hotspot Issue since August Update

Just got the August update last night and now mobile hotspot refuses to turn on if I have it set to prefer 5Ghz. If I chage the setting to 2.4Ghz it works fine but as soon as I try 5 it switches off and will not turn back on, the toggle switches on momentarly then switches itself back off. Is there anyway to report bugs to an official channel or does anyone here have a fix for the issue. Thanks in advance

I have the same problem with my Samsung A52. I even did a factor reset but nothing changed. My 5GHz band is not working (disable) after I got the new update. I don't know what to do now.

Same here. I reported the issue and hoped that the latest update would fix the issue but it's still there

I have the same issue.  Switching to 2.4GHz does work when tethering to my laptop, but it is irritating that 5GHz doesn't work.  I have reported via the Samsung Members App as others have recommended on this thread.

Just bought Galaxy A52s 5G and noticed huge problems with 5 GHz Hotspot. And FYI, I haven't even tested 2.4 GHz because I have used 5 GHz for ages already with all my devices and I am not gonna go back to 2.4 GHz.

I have October 2021 (security) update installed, no experiences of previous updates.

Anyway, some of my devices won't "see" the Galaxy Hotspot at all. Or if they can connect, the connection is not stable and with some devices the Hotspot connection somehow seems to kill the mobile data of the phone and restart is required to get the 4G back up and running again.

edit: Disabling VoLTE seems to help with some devices. But not all of them.

edit2: It's nothing to do with VoLTE. Problem n:o 1 is that 5 GHz Hotspot is fixed to ch 149 and some of my devices won't work with channels above 140.

The second and much bigger problem is that after activating 5 GHz Hotspot all cellular data just dies and nothing works no more. You cannot take advantage of 5 GHz band if you wanna keep your phone working with cellular data. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.

edit3: Something is terribly wrong with cellular data in general. No matter if Hotspot is activated or not, with 2.4 or 5 GHz, doesn't matter.
