A50 not showing Facebook icon badge

Hey all,

I recently bought a new A50 and have noticed that I only seem to receive an icon badge (little number at top right of icon) for Facebook when there's an actual notification in the top notification panel/shade. If someone 'likes' my post on Facebook, this doesn't generate a notification but I'm sure I used to get a badge notification on my previous Huawei.

 

I have tried turning on all options to do with show badges/numbers etc.

 

Any ideas welcome!

@Rog8: This should be possible via the Facebook app settings. Please open Facebook > Tap the 3 lines in the top right > Settings > Account Settings > Notifications. Let me know how you get on. ^AL

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, they were all enabled for push, SMS etc. The icon badge numbers all work for other apps like LinkedIn, WhatsApp etc. Just not Facebook for some reason.
