A50 blur selfie background

Hi everyone,

I am trying to figure it out why my selfie background is blur. I know there is something going on with fixed focal lenght. Is there anything it can be done about it?

Have you made sure all beauty mode features are off ? And you're not using the lens blur feature either ?

Are you using the photo or live focus mode ?

Thanks for the reply. All beauty modes were turned off. If you mean lens blur feature like in live focus than the answer is no, the picture was made in photo mode.

I find sometimes having HDR on can improve the situation of detail captured.
My a70 does a slight softness to on the front camera so I set the timer to 2 or 5 seconds to allow to position myself and hold the camera slightly further away.
Might not help you but it gives me a few seconds to reposition and get as still as possible.
