I have just bought a brand new A42 5G. I am very happy with the phone apart from the Wi-fi.
The phone will connect to a Wi-Fi network fine, however at seemingly random intervals the phone will show an exclamation point by the wi-fi symbol. This reports "connected without internet" despite everything else on the wi-fi network having internet connection.
The only way to get the internet to work again is to move closer to the nearest wi-fi access point for stronger signal. This happens roughly every 5-10 mins.
I have already followed the usual instructions online including resetting my network settings.
If anyone has experienced this issue before or might know how to fix it, I would be very grateful.
