A23 not starting after latest update!!!

After an update last week, the A23 phone wont start. Nothing seems to work, it is completely dead.

I'm having the same problem. Today my phone went completely dead and would not trun on. Unfortunately I updated my phone a few days ago.

I am a Technician of repair phone. I got 12 same A23 phone at the same day (2024.05.08). all of the owners of those phones telling the same story that after did the latest system update, the phone becoming glitching and then shut down and not coming on again.  Please Samsung, give a solution. as soon as possible.

Based on the silence, I am contemplating if i should ever buy another Samsung product.

Which updates are we talking about here? Can you tell us which Android version broke your phone? The last Android update was 14 UI 6.0 back last year. If you mean UI 6.1 then this update has been put on hold due to problems with the update.

How did you receive the update? OTA or forced using Odin?

SAMSUNG is not responding on this issue. Is it hacked or developer mistake? No update received from customer care service centre as well.

Unusual for a security update to brick a device. Interested to know if any feature updates were bundled with it. You'd think these things would be rigorously tested before release.

UPDATE:

I've taken the phone into a service centre and they would repair at no cost. They are a Samsung Authorized Service Centre

I was informed that the entire board has to be replaced and they would do it at no cost.

It will take about three weeks though
