My wife has a Galaxy A22 which she has misplaced. She did not set up an account when she got it. Using my account I have tried to locate it but it only locates my phone. I have explored the net and those sites I have looked at want a fee and I am very reluctant to subscribe in case they are scams and I have my bank account compromised. Is there anyone in the community who this has happened to and used an absolutely free phone locator.
My fingers are crossed that someone can help
Thank you beboldboy

Hello, in regards to this matter, my knowledge can go so far as to say that unfortunately you might not be able to locate a lost or stolen device without without any connection to a set-up samsung account. Perhaps someone with more experience might respond accordingly

You would have needed yo set this up on the phone and then used the find app to locate it.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Did she sign in with Google? Even if a samsung account isn't linked, a Google account will allow tracking

@beboldboy: Further to the above, if your wife registered a Google account to her Galaxy A22, then she can try utilising the 'Find My Device' service via a browser app to locate it.
