The phone re-starts 3to 5 times a day for no reason when in use.
Any ideas how to fix this.

It's most likely an app bug causing this, the way to track it down is to systematically temporarily disable the extra ones you added to the phone from galaxy store or Google play store one by one until it stops.

@technology ,Hello, put the phone in Safe Mode and see if the problem persists. If in Safe Mode it does not present this problem, uninstall the last third-party apps installed. Otherwise, Reset to factory settings can solve it. Greetings.

> https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. 

> https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too. 

> Back up and factory reset.
