My old (5 years) Nuu Mobile G3 won't run smart switch so I can't connect or sync my new Galaxy. Is there another way to transfer data?

That would depend on what data you want to xfer. You will need to tell us what data in particular ie photos, videos, music. Consider xfering what files you can to either the cloud or a pc/laptop. You can then easily xfer them back to the new device.

@Trevee is there any built in Settings to allow the transfer of data ?

You could try a Google Search too to which there does seem
