was just looking at compatible galaxy phones and the A12 isn't on it . also it goes on about having an EE or VODAFONE contract. I'm with 3 so will it still work just as well do you think ?

is this for the Bluetooth watch or the 4G network enabled one? the Bluetooth watch will work fine if its the 4G one I don't know sorry

right, if you are referring to Galaxy Watch 4G variant, below are the requirements

¹ 4G LTE standalone connectivity available on Galaxy Watch 4G model connected exclusively on EE* and Vodafone**. Wireless network and pairing with compatible Samsung Galaxy device required.

*Standalone voice calling on 4G model requires an EE PAYM voice plan with data subscription to access the ‘One Number’ service.

**Available to all Vodafone Pay Monthly Mobile customers on a Red Plan. You will use the allowance from your current PAYM or SIMO plan to call your Samsung Watch.

***Compatible with Samsung smartphone devices (A3 2017, A5 2017, A6 2018, A8 2018 J3 2017, A10, A20e, A21s, A40, A41, A50, A51, A51 5G, A70, A71, A80, A90 5G, J5 2017, J6 2018, Xcover4, Xcover 4s, S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8+, S9, S9+, S10e, S10, S10+, S20, S20+ S20 Ultra, Note8, Note9, Note10, Note10+, Fold 5G and Z Flip) on the EE and Vodafone network.

better yet, confirm this with 3 if they can provide the mobile service already for the 4G watch
