I updated my Samsung A12 to the recent update and I now realise that The A12 has 5GHz band for mobile hotspot can someone explain to me how this works

Just checking, how is this linked to the tarrif? This is surely just the wifi protocol being offered by the host device and not at all linking back to the 3, 4 or 5G tarrif.
