Do I have to install a 3rd party app to get a vertical recent apps display?

The default (horizontal) layout is really a pain to use when you have many open apps.

You could look at Goodlock and then use the Task Changer plug in,  or possibly Nova Prime @Maximus0008

Doesn't it adapt to the screen orientation? It does on my Tab A7. Make sure auto rotation is on

@BandOfBrothers

Sadly Good Lock is incompatible with my device (I read somewhere it's because the CPU is running in 32-bit mode). It's crushing me that I can't have that.

(BTW Band of Brothers is a REALLY great TV show)

@antikythera

Screen rotation has no effect.

Shame then different launchers are your only option if Goodlock isn't compatible either.

Hi @Maximus0008

If Goodlock isn't in your Samsung Galaxy Store then it's not available in your particular region.

On a side note Yes I totally agree BandOfBrothers is an awesome thought provoking TV Series.  👍

Good lock isn't available if it's running one UI core, although I don't think this was a thing before the 2020 low end series. You could try sideloading the APK, although if it is 64 bit only then yes it won't work as the a10e software is at 32bit for some reason despite the SOC being 64
