How do you retrieve early emails

Which email app are you using? Viewing using a PC is probably a better option.

Fortunately I can view them on my tablet, but just wondered why I couldn't on my phone, some times, I get them back !!

Change the mail sync. period to something longer in the mail app so it downloads the older emails e.g. 30 days instead of 14

Or better still choose mail sync as "All time" for everything in your inbox

Not 100% sure what mean mail sync.

@nobby123: Open the Email app > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Tap the cog in the top right of the pop up window > Select your account > Period to Sync Emails (this may be called Sync Period) > All Time.
