I've got an A50 too and my internal microphone has stopped working. Can't hear anything through it or on answerphone messages. I have to use speakerphone. My insurance company tested it and internal mic is a hardware problem. Gotta send back for repair which takes 2wks! It's only 10 months old so probably an A50 problem?
