Samsung messages hit & miss

Samsung messages seems to be only sending & receiving select messages.

Blue arrow is changing green to signify normal sms rather than rcs and then not sending or receiving messages until I restart phone

Have you tried to reset your Messages app or to reinsert your SIM card? If that doesn't help, please report the issue via the Members app!

I've tried both these. it's hit or miss, but only since the beta. To sort it you need to restart the phone

Which network are you on Goatee2? I've been randomly testing the messages since your first thread and now again with this thread and I'm not having the same issue on 3.

I′ve recently done a master reset on the phone & am running the Beta

I've just experienced this issue and I think it was because default message type was set to chat messages and I don't think the person I was sending it to had that function. I've set it to automatic now and it seems to be working again.

definitely think setting it to automatic has fixed this issue after sending a few more messages.
