Edge touch rejection

I keep doing false touches when holding my S10.

Noticeably more frequent than with Android 9.

Anyone got a way of changing that? I've tried the Edge Touch app but it doesnt seem to have improved things.

It's getting really frustrating the amount of times the notification panel suddenly appears, or keyboard dismisses unexpectedly, or I'm suddenly zooming something, or scroll isn't working properly, all because my grip is registering as a press on Android 10 beta when it didn't register as a press on Android 9.

Hi @ryamoo  I always found the Edge Touch app very good at stopping this, although I am yet to try it on the Beta as the the Good Lock apps seem to be very temperamental on Android 10.

Maybe it is just not fully supported for the new OS yet.

Hopefully we will get an update for these apps soon 🙂

On my S10+ powered by Android 10 improved by One UI 2.0,

Hi @ryamoo

What you can also try is disabling the "Touch sensitivity option" in Settings > Display.

But if that fails and you think it really has became worse when compared to Android 9, then please make sure to send an error report using Beta Feedback option in Samsung Members app, so our development team can take a look at it!
