Assistant in Android Auto

Anyone used Android Auto with the beta?

The only issue I've found is a Biggie - there's no spoken assistant replies  in reply to any query and there are no spoken voice navigation directions either.

Google play music works fine so it's not a general audio issue.

Yes I have been seeing this also, will get a bug report raised now I know it's just me

The development team is aware of that problem and it should be fixed in the next update!

This issue now seems to be fixed in the latest Beta

I had the same issue. 

I have now downloaded beta 2. Google Assisant voice has now returned when using Android Auto. However, when providing directions over Android Auto Google Assistant is a bit hissy. 

However, when interacting with Google Assistant over Android Auto, outside of navigation, for example  to send a text, I experience no Hissing.
