120hz mode

I have a S20+ 5G.

Is 120hz mode adaptive, or just constant 120hz?

For example, if I'm watching a video and the source is only 30 or 60fps, is the screen still refreshing at 120hz?

If I'm playing a game and it can't hit 120fps, is the screen still refreshing at 120hz, or down to the game's FPS (a sort of vsync or g-sync style thing).

If I'm browsing on chrome, reading an article or something, and I've stopped scrolling to read a section and there's no movement on the page, is it still refreshing at 120hz or does it slow down?

The Galaxy S20 series does not have an adaptive refresh rate, thus is constantly at 60
Hz or 120 Hz.

If not implemented through One UI 3, it 100% should be!!

60, 96 or 120hz, if content isn't at those rates then frame doubling or similar is used

@ryamoo,

As @Liamò has already said, unfortunately, the Galaxy S20 series doesn't have an adaptive refresh rate 😔
