Shortcut to camera works intermittently

I have the default settings where double pressing the main right button on S21 ultra Pro should open the camera app, which it doesn't work always, it stucks sometimes. I kill the camera app and then relaunch again, then it works.

First of all, have you got any updates that are still pending(not installed)? Second of all, have you tried to do a Factory reset?

That's one feature I use hundreds of times a day, OK a bit of a stretch with numbers but on a serious note, I take lots of photos and I open the camera app by double pressing the side key and I've not had any issues at all. Hoping if you clear the cache and data on the app and starting afresh resolves your issue.

Warning Camera Failed message when selecting front facing camera, tried emptying cache etc, stuck now, any ideas?
