In the search bar when you hold an icon you get the option to "remove" which does nothing. What is it for?

What does pressing remove do? I don't see it doing anything

Thank you for the screenshot! This seems to be the button to remove the icon from the home screen, but appearing in search results. Please send an error report through Samsung Members app so that the developers can take a look 😊
