Quick access to finder/search

Finder and search capability is the core of every OS. It has been the main on focus on every platform. Can we activate swipe down to activate finder with keyboard ready to type and search. This has been a feature on home up but would like for this to become a main focus. I would suggest a redesign just to accomodate for the search. TLDR we want a quick, intuitive, reliable search to be activated with minimum effort or one click.
